Experience:

As a founder and principal of PKA, Mr. Pickett is involved in all aspects of the firm’s operation and has primary responsibility for the firm’s educational and sports facility projects.  He has designed concrete, steel, composite steel and wood structural systems, and has particular expertise in the design of tilt-up concrete systems, post-tensioned concrete, the specification of concrete and the design-build project delivery method.

Notable projects include:

• Vandegrift and Rouse High Schools for the Leander ISD.
• Gupton, Bible and Monroe Stadiums for the Leander ISD.
• Wiley, Four Points, Stiles and Danielson Middle Schools for the Leander ISD.
• Hudson Bend Middle School Improvements, Lake Travis Middle School and Bee Cave Middle School  for the Lake Travis ISD.
• Westside, Reagan, Reed, Akin and Larkspur Elementary Schools for the Leander ISD
• Video scoreboard and ribbon board displays for Kyle Field at Texas A&M University.
• Phase III Expansion of Kyle Field at Texas A&M University, which included seating decks and ramping systems for the third decks at the east and west sides of the stadium.
• Terminal C at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.
• William P. Hobby airport parking garage.
